CCEI Wall Conduit: The watertight fitting for your stainless steel piezo button
The CCEI wall conduit is the interface piece that ensures the watertight passage of the piezoelectric button cable through the pool structure. It is positioned under the coping or in the pool wall and accommodates the CCEI 316L stainless steel Piezo button, which screws directly onto it to be flush with the surface. The button's cable passes through the wall inside the conduit, protected from water and infiltration by a reinforced rubber gasket system. It is an essential component for any Piezo installation in a concrete pool.
This conduit fits into a PN16 PVC pipe with a diameter of 40 mm, which must be embedded in the coping or wall during the construction or renovation of the pool. The PVC pipe serves as a sleeve in which the conduit is housed, ensuring precise positioning and solid support. The Piezo button then sits flush with the coping surface for a discreet and refined aesthetic.
Compatible exclusively with the CCEI 316L stainless steel Piezo button
This wall conduit is specifically designed for CCEI's 316L stainless steel Piezo button. The threading and mounting dimensions correspond to the 22 mm diameter of the stainless steel button. If you are using the POM plastic version of the Piezo button, check the compatibility of the corresponding wall conduit, as the two button versions may require different conduits depending on the product generation.
Installation under coping in concrete pools
The wall conduit is designed for concrete pools (blockwork, poured concrete, gunite). The ideal installation takes place during the construction of the pool: a PN16 PVC pipe with a diameter of 40 mm is embedded in the coping at the chosen location for the Piezo button. Once the coping is poured and the lining is installed, the conduit is inserted into the pipe and the Piezo button is screwed onto it. For renovations, it is possible to core the coping to insert the PVC pipe, provided that the structure is not weakened.
The Piezo button cable (3 m) passes inside the conduit and the PVC pipe to the technical room, where it connects to the MPZ control module in the electrical box. If the distance is greater than 3 meters, the cable can be extended with an appropriate section.
The CCEI Piezo system: three complementary components
The wall conduit is part of CCEI's complete Piezo system, consisting of three inseparable elements. The 316L stainless steel (or POM) Piezo button is the user interface that screws onto the conduit. The wall conduit (this product) ensures the watertightness of the cable passage. The MPZ control module, installed on a DIN rail in the electrical box, receives the button signal and controls the pumps or devices. The Piezo button and the MPZ module are sold separately on Pool Planet. The Piccolo PI-NCC PZ box already includes the MPZ module.
Why is conduit sealing crucial?
Passing an electrical cable through a pool wall is a critical point in terms of safety and durability. Without a watertight conduit, water can infiltrate along the cable, cause corrosion on connections, deteriorate electrical insulation, and, in the most serious cases, create a risk of short circuit. The reinforced gasket of the CCEI conduit ensures total insulation between the aquatic environment and the electrical wiring, in accordance with the safety requirements for electrical installations in swimming pool environments.

Frequently Asked Questions about the CCEI Stainless Steel Piezo Wall Conduit
The wall conduit ensures the watertight passage of the piezoelectric button cable through the coping or pool wall. It accommodates the stainless steel Piezo button, which screws directly onto it, and protects the electrical wiring from water thanks to a reinforced rubber seal.
This conduit (ref. CCEI00043) is specifically designed for CCEI's 316L stainless steel Piezo button. If you are using the POM plastic version, check compatibility with the corresponding conduit, as the two button versions may require different conduits depending on the product generation.
This conduit is designed for concrete pools: block, poured concrete, or shotcrete. It is inserted into a PN16 PVC pipe of 40 mm diameter embedded in the coping. It is not suitable for fiberglass pools or above-ground pools.
Yes, it is possible to core drill the coping to insert a 40 mm diameter PN16 PVC pipe, provided the structure is not weakened. Installation is nevertheless simpler during pool construction, when the PVC pipe can be directly embedded before pouring.
No, the 40 mm diameter PN16 PVC pipe is not included. It must be purchased separately from a plumbing supply or construction material store. This pipe serves as a sleeve in the coping and the conduit fits into it.
The 316L stainless steel Piezo button screws directly onto the wall conduit, ensuring both mechanical fastening and watertightness. Once screwed in, the button is flush with the coping surface for a discreet and aesthetic finish.
Yes, the reinforced rubber seal integrated into the conduit guarantees total watertightness between the aquatic environment and the electrical wiring. Installation under the coping, above the waterline, further reduces the hydrostatic pressure exerted on the seal.
The complete CCEI Piezo system comprises three elements: the wall conduit (this product), the 316L stainless steel Piezo button (or POM) which screws onto the conduit, and the MPZ control module which is mounted in the electrical box. The button and the MPZ module are sold separately. The Piccolo PI-NCC PZ box already includes the MPZ module.
The conduit is installed under the coping, where you want the control button to be accessible from the edge of the pool. The choice of location depends on the use: near the counter-current swimming jet for convenient access during swimming, or at a central point for versatile control.
The passage of an electrical cable through a pool wall is a critical point. Without a watertight conduit, water can seep along the cable, cause corrosion, damage electrical insulation, and create a risk of short circuit. The reinforced CCEI seal guarantees total insulation, in accordance with the safety requirements for electrical installations in a pool environment.
