A100 RC Box: Power supply and radio remote control for BRiO projectors up to 100 VA

The CCEI A100 RC box is a complete power and remote control system for BRiO LED projectors. It integrates three essential functions into a compact wall-mounted enclosure: a 230V/12V 100 VA transformer to power the projectors, a 433 MHz radio receiver to receive commands from the supplied remote control, and a Remote Color (RC) control module that interprets instructions and controls the projectors in real time. This system allows you to change lighting colors, launch light sequences, and synchronize multiple projectors from the poolside, without having to go to the technical room.

Remote Color technology: control via micro-interruptions in the power supply

The principle of the Remote Color system is based on an ingenious method: control via micro-interruptions in the electrical power supply. When you press a button on the remote control — for example, to switch from white to blue or launch a multi-color sequence — the receiver integrated into the A100 RC box generates a sequence of very brief micro-interruptions (a few milliseconds) on the 12V power line of the projectors. These interruptions are not perceptible to the naked eye but are detected by the electronics integrated into the BRiO projectors, which interpret them as commands and immediately change color or mode.

This technology has a major advantage: it does not require any additional cabling between the box and the projectors. A standard 12V power supply is sufficient to transmit both power and commands. This significantly simplifies installation, especially in renovations where it is difficult to run new cables to already installed projectors.

Perfect synchronization of all connected projectors

All BRiO projectors connected to the same A100 RC box receive exactly the same sequence of micro-interruptions at the same time. The result: they change color or sequence in a perfectly synchronized manner, without any delay. This synchronization is guaranteed regardless of the distance between the projectors or their number — as long as the total power remains under 100 VA, all projectors remain coordinated.

For pools with multiple projectors distributed in the pool or garden, this synchronization provides essential visual harmony. No projector turns blue while another remains red: all follow the same command simultaneously, creating a homogeneous and professional lighting effect.

Radio remote control with extended range and detachable antenna

The remote control supplied with the A100 RC box operates at 433 MHz radio frequency, a frequency band commonly used in home automation for its reliability and range. Unlike infrared remote controls which require a direct line of sight, the radio remote control passes through walls, obstacles and even works from inside the house. The range reaches several tens of meters in open field.

For installations where the technical room is far from the pool or located in a basement, the A100 RC box integrates a detachable antenna. This antenna is attached to the outside of the box, on a wall or pole near the pool, and connects to the receiver via a coaxial cable. This configuration guarantees optimal reception of radio signals even in the most complex cases.

Compatibility: only with CCEI BRiO RGB and RGBW projectors

The A100 RC box is specifically designed for CCEI BRiO LED projectors, which integrate the necessary electronics to interpret the micro-interruptions of the Remote Color system. It is compatible with the entire BRiO range in RGB (red, green, blue) and RGBW (red, green, blue, white) versions, whether they are screw-in return projectors or niche projectors.

The box is not compatible with projectors from other brands, nor with PAR56 halogen projectors, nor with classic LED projectors that do not have the Remote Color function. If you want to control other types of projectors, you will need to choose a different control system, such as a DMX dimmer or a wired control box.

Simple wall mounting, 230V power supply and 12V output to projectors

The A100 RC box is a ready-to-install wall-mounted enclosure, IP55 protected against water splashes and dust. It is fixed to the wall of the technical room with the supplied plugs and screws. The electrical connection is simple: 230V AC input from the electrical panel, 12V AC output to the projectors. The integrated transformer complies with NF EN61558, which certifies safety transformers for swimming pool use.

The maximum power is 100 VA, which typically corresponds to a 100W BRiO projector or several low-power LED projectors (for example, four 25W BRiO mini-projectors, or ten 10W BRiO mini-projectors). For installations exceeding 100 VA, higher versions of the Remote Color system are available with 300 VA or 600 VA power ratings.

Everyday comfort of use: turn on, change color, create atmospheres

With the A100 RC box, your pool lighting becomes a real atmosphere tool. From the terrace or sun lounger, a simple press of the remote control is enough to turn the projectors on or off, switch from one fixed color to another (white, red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow), or launch a progressive transition sequence between several colors. You can adapt the luminous atmosphere to every occasion: white for a family swim, blue for a relaxing atmosphere, multi-color sequence for an evening with friends.
