BRiO WIL: Connected Control for Your CCEI Pool Projectors
The BRiO WIL Wi-Fi controller from CCEI is a connected wall-mounted unit that allows you to control all your BRiO pool projectors from your smartphone or by voice command via Alexa® by Amazon®. No more trips to the technical room to change colors or ambiance: from the CCEI Connect app (iOS and Android), you can access 12 fixed colors, 7 customizable light sequences, and a dimmer, all via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Compatibility: Which Projectors Work with BRiO WIL?
The BRiO WIL is compatible with all BRiO range color LED projectors manufactured after November 2016, whether they are Mini-BRiO, Mid-BRiO, or niche models. If your BRiO projectors predate this, they do not have the necessary communication protocol and cannot be controlled by the WIL. The combined power of all connected projectors must not exceed 120 W.
The BRiO WIL connects to the secondary side of the lighting transformer (12 V AC) in your electrical panel. It is positioned between the transformer and the projectors: the pre-wired 1.5 m cable (3 x 2.5 mm²) facilitates connection. Only compatible BRiO projectors should be connected to this circuit.
12 Fixed Colors and 7 Light Sequences
The CCEI Connect app gives you access to a palette of 12 fixed colors — from warm white to deep blue, including green, red, and intermediate shades — as well as 7 light sequences with customizable transitions. You can adjust the scrolling speed and light intensity directly from your phone to create the ideal ambiance, whether for a relaxed night swim or an evening by the pool.
Voice Control with Alexa®
The BRiO WIL integrates into the connected home ecosystem thanks to its compatibility with Alexa® by Amazon®. You can turn your projectors on, off, or change their color with a simple voice command, without even touching your phone. This feature also allows you to integrate pool lighting into your Alexa routines: automatic turn-on at sunset, scheduled turn-off, synchronization with other connected devices in your home.
BRiO WIL vs BRiO RC+: What Are the Differences?
The BRiO WIL replaces the older BRiO RC+ BT model. Both share the same wall-mounted enclosure format and the same operating principle (control of BRiO projectors via the 12 V secondary of the transformer), but the WIL brings several significant developments. Wi-Fi connection is added to Bluetooth and offers a much greater range, covering your entire home via your domestic network. Alexa® compatibility opens the door to voice control and home automation integration. Finally, the CCEI Connect app benefits from automatic firmware updates to keep the system up-to-date.
Installation and Connection
The BRiO WIL wall-mounted unit is fixed using the two screws and rawlplugs provided, ideally near the technical room or in an accessible covered area. The pre-wired 1.5 m cable (3 x 2.5 mm²) connects to the 4-point terminal block supplied in the box. The connection diagram is simple: the 12 V input comes from the toroidal transformer of your electrical panel (Panorama, Piccolo, or other), and the output powers your BRiO projectors. A bridge must be made during installation between two terminals, as indicated in the manual.
Important: the BRiO WIL does not contain a transformer. It must be powered by 12 V AC from an existing transformer (that of your pool's electrical panel). Electrical connections must be made by a qualified person.

No, the BRiO WIL is exclusively compatible with CCEI BRiO range color LED projectors manufactured after November 2016 (Mini-BRiO, Mid-BRiO, etc.).
