The X-CELL XXL cell is the new electrolysis cell used for CCEI's Limpido salt chlorinators. Manufactured since 2016 and designed for pools up to 150 m³, it offers a production capacity of 30 g/h. The X-CELL 160 cell can also be used to replace the cells of older Limpido salt chlorinator models.
A salt pool cell compatible with all Limpido models
Did you have a white pool chlorinator cell with a Limpido sticker? This new X-CELL cell is compatible with your chlorinator. The same size (313 mm long), it is also equipped with the same connector to connect it to your electrolysis unit.
The X-CELL cell is compatible with salt chlorinators equipped with a white rectangular industrial connector. Compatible chlorinators are:
- Limpido and DUO (manufactured after 2007)
- Limpido XC (manufactured after 2007)
- Limpido PRO (manufactured after 2007)
- Limpido EZ and EZ DUO (manufactured after 2007)
- Elysa PRO (manufactured after 2007)
- SELPRO® (manufactured after 2007)
Replace your old Turbo cell:
The X-CELL cell has the same technical characteristics as a Turbo cell you have on your current pool. You therefore have no work to plan to replace your faulty cell.
Transparent and robust salt pool cell
The new X-CELL cell is made of transparent polycarbonate and with transparent ruthenium-treated titanium plates. This treatment on the plates guarantees an excellent lifespan.
Thanks to this transparent cell, you can quickly see that your chlorinator is producing chlorine (bubble formation in the cell) and check the condition of the pool water directly in your technical room.
When you install the salt pool cell on your pipes, check with the central band that the color corresponds to your device model:
- WHITE = 45 m³
- GRAY = 75 m³
- BLUE = 90 m³
- GOLD = 150 m³
The cell is scalable. Indeed, you have a space provided to install a pH injector (after drilling the cell). Thus, you avoid an additional drilling in the pipe.
Clean your cell easily:
To maintain your X-CELL cell, hermetically seal the inlet of your cell (the side without a connector) and fill it with acid diluted in water (10%) and let it act for 24 hours. Then put your cell back on the pipe to enjoy your pool with peace of mind.

La cellule X-CELL s'installe sur une canalisation au diamètre de 50 mm, à l'aide des raccords-unions fournis. Elle s'installe en aval de la filtration (après le filtre). Elle peut être positionnée aussi bien à l'horizontale qu'à la verticale.
Il est préférable d'effectuer une installation en bypass (indispensable au-delà d'un débit de 22 m³/h) afin de pouvoir maîtriser le débit d'eau et démonter la cellule sans interrompre le fonctionnement de la filtration.
Attention : prenez garde au positionnement de l'ensemble des éléments de la cellule lors du montage.

Utilisez le connecteur préinstallé sur la cellule pour la raccorder au coffret d'électrolyse.

Cette cellule est-elle compatible avec mon électrolyseur Limpido ?
Elle remplace les cellules des Limpido et DUO, XC, PRO, EZ et EZ DUO, Elysa PRO et SELPRO® fabriqués après 2007. Seule condition : un connecteur industriel rectangulaire blanc.
Quelle cellule X-CELL choisir selon mon bassin ?
Trois formats : 12 g/h jusqu'à 45 m³ (X-CELL 60), 18 g/h jusqu'à 75 m³ (X-CELL L), 30 g/h jusqu'à 150 m³ (X-CELL XXL). C'est votre modèle d'électrolyseur qui détermine le format, pas seulement le volume du bassin.
Dois-je prévoir des travaux dans mon local technique ?
Non. Même longueur que l'ancienne cellule Turbo (313 mm) et même connecteur. Elle se monte sur la canalisation existante avec les raccords union Ø50 mm fournis.
Comment nettoyer ma cellule d'électrolyseur ?
Bouchez l'entrée de la cellule (côté sans connecteur), remplissez d'acide dilué à 10 % dans l'eau, laissez agir 24 heures, rincez et remontez.
À quoi sert la couleur du bandeau central ?
Elle indique le volume de bassin : blanc 45 m³, gris 75 m³, bleu 90 m³, or 150 m³. Cette cellule porte un bandeau or.
Comment savoir si ma cellule produit toujours du chlore ?
Le corps transparent laisse voir les bulles pendant la production. Plus de bulles avec une filtration en marche et un taux de sel correct : nettoyez la cellule à l'acide avant d'envisager un remplacement.
Puis-je ajouter un injecteur pH sur cette cellule ?
Oui, un emplacement est prévu (après perçage de la cellule). Vous évitez un perçage supplémentaire dans la canalisation.
