The CCEI 316L stainless steel RGB Piezo push button is an innovative control device that replaces traditional pneumatic systems used to operate counter-current swimming, massage pumps, blowers, or even pool lighting. Its principle is based on piezoelectric technology: a simple finger press generates a micro-electrical current sufficient to send a signal to the MPZ control module, without any external power supply at the button itself. The result is a perfectly watertight control, with no moving mechanical parts, and superior reliability compared to conventional pneumatic buttons.

Made of 316L stainless steel, the button resists corrosion caused by chlorine, bromine, salt, and UV rays. Its compact 22 mm diameter allows it to be discreetly integrated into the pool coping or wall thanks to the dedicated CCEI wall conduit, which fits into a 40 mm diameter PVC PN16 pipe. The button is flush with the surface for a sleek aesthetic.

Integrated RGB Lighting: A Visual Indication of Operating Status

The Piezo button is equipped with customizable RGB backlighting that changes color according to the status of the MPZ control module's outputs. This visual indication allows you to instantly know if the counter-current swimming pump is running, stopped, or in which operating sequence it is. A beacon mode is also configurable to easily locate the button at night, which enhances both user comfort and safety around the pool.

The backlight is powered by 12V DC and is supplied by the MPZ control module via the 3-meter cable included with the button.

A Range of Up to 1000m: The End of Pneumatic Constraints

One of the main advantages of Piezo technology compared to pneumatic systems is the complete absence of distance constraints between the control button and the electrical box. With a pneumatic system, the tube length is limited and pressure losses make activation unreliable beyond a few meters. The CCEI Piezo button offers a range of up to 1000 meters, making it suitable for all installation configurations, even when the technical room is far from the pool.

This freedom of positioning is particularly appreciated for infinity pools, installations with a remote technical room, or projects incorporating multiple control points around the pool.

The CCEI Piezo System: Three Complementary Components

The RGB Piezo button is part of a complete system composed of three elements that work together. The push button (this product) is the user interface installed in the coping. The wall conduit ensures the watertight passage of the cable through the pool structure. The MPZ control module, installed on a DIN rail in the electrical box of the technical room, is the intelligent receiver that controls up to 2 pumps or devices based on the signals received from the button.

The MPZ module offers several operating modes: simple latching relay (on/off), timed latching relay, sequencer with or without timing. Applications: Far Beyond Counter-Current Swimming

Although the Piezo button is primarily used to control counter-current swimming, it is suitable for any application requiring a remote watertight control: massage pumps, blowers (bubbles), pool lighting, fountains, waterfalls, or any other equipment controlled by the MPZ module. The CCEI Piccolo NCC PZ box natively integrates Piezo compatibility, but the button can be associated with any electrical box equipped with an MPZ module on a DIN rail.

316L Stainless Steel or Plastic Version: Which Choice?

CCEI offers the Piezo button in two versions: 316L stainless steel (this product) and POM plastic. The stainless steel version offers maximum corrosion resistance and a premium aesthetic, ideal for natural stone or polished concrete coping. The plastic version is a more economical alternative suitable for installations where budget is a priority. Both versions share the same technical characteristics (22 mm diameter, RGB lighting, MPZ compatibility) and are interchangeable.
