CCEI TILD VP connected electrical box: Wi-Fi control and remote access via the Internet from your smartphone
The CCEI TILD VP connected electrical box is an intelligent control box that centralizes the control of the filtration pump, 12V lighting, and an auxiliary equipment, all controllable from anywhere in the world via the Vigipool application thanks to its dual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Unlike the TIMEO box which only works with local Bluetooth, the TILD VP connects to your Internet box via Wi-Fi, allowing remote access from outside your home (office, vacation, restaurant) via your 4G connection or any Internet network. It includes a 12V 100VA transformer to power LED projectors, an adjustable magneto-thermal circuit breaker up to 7A to protect the filtration pump (up to 1.5 HP in single-phase), a heat pump outlet protected by a D16 circuit breaker, and a programmable auxiliary dry contact output up to 10A. The box comes with a PT1000 temperature probe with a Ø50 mm collar that measures the water temperature in real-time and enables intelligent automatic filtration (filtration time adjusted according to temperature). Dimensions: 410 × 310 × 150 mm, weight 6.5 kg.
The Vigipool application (iOS and Android) offers a comprehensive interface for programming multiple time-based scenarios, creating conditional automations (if temperature > 25°C then filter for 12h, if < 15°C then filter for 4h), controlling lighting with several modes, activating/deactivating the auxiliary output according to time slots, receiving push notifications in case of anomaly, and consulting the temperature history. The TILD VP benefits from automatic remote firmware updates (OTA, Over The Air) that regularly add new features without manual intervention.
The TILD VP is CCEI's high-end box for users who want pool management from outside the home, advanced automation, and possible integration with home automation. If you are looking for a simpler box for local control only, opt for the TIMEO box which works with Bluetooth without Wi-Fi or Internet.
Dual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity: local and remote access from anywhere
The TILD VP has dual 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, offering great flexibility of use:
Bluetooth connection (initial setup and backup): Bluetooth is mainly used during the initial installation of the box. You connect via Bluetooth from your smartphone (range 5-15 meters) to perform the initial setup: connecting the TILD VP to your home Wi-Fi network (entering the Wi-Fi network SSID and password), checking the connection, testing the outputs. Once the box is connected to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth is no longer necessary for daily use, but remains available in backup mode if your home Wi-Fi goes down or if you change your Internet box and need to reconfigure the network.
Wi-Fi connection (daily control and remote access): Once connected to your Internet box via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, the TILD VP becomes accessible from anywhere in the world via the Vigipool application. You can control your pool from your office 20 km away, from a hotel on vacation 2000 km away, or from a restaurant. The only condition is that your smartphone has an Internet connection (4G, 5G, public Wi-Fi, etc.). The TILD VP constantly communicates with the CCEI Vigipool cloud servers, which relay between your smartphone and the box installed at your home. This cloud architecture allows bypassing firewalls and routers without complex network configuration (no need to open ports on the Internet box or configure DDNS).
Advantages of Wi-Fi connection with remote access: Control from outside (check that filtration is working during your vacation, turn on lighting before returning home, force filtration if you have friends over in the evening while you are still at work), real-time push notifications in case of anomaly (power outage, abnormally low water temperature signaling a leak, equipment malfunction), consultation of temperature history over several days/weeks to detect trends, possible future integration with voice assistants (Alexa, Google Home) and home automation systems (Home Assistant, Jeedom) once CCEI has developed these functionalities.
Disadvantages of Wi-Fi dependency: The TILD VP requires a stable home Wi-Fi network and an Internet box with a permanent connection. If your Internet box breaks down or your Internet subscription is cut off, remote access will no longer work (but the TILD VP will continue to execute locally the already recorded time schedules). If your technical room is too far from your Internet box (> 20-30 meters with concrete walls), the Wi-Fi signal may be too weak and you will need to install a Wi-Fi repeater or an additional Wi-Fi access point near the technical room. The TILD VP only uses the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band (no 5 GHz Wi-Fi), which offers better range but lower throughput — sufficient for controlling a pool, but you need to check that your Internet box transmits in 2.4 GHz (most modern boxes transmit simultaneously in 2.4 and 5 GHz, so no problem).
Vigipool app: unified interface to control all your CCEI connected pool equipment
The Vigipool application (available for free on iOS App Store and Android Google Play) is the heart of the TILD VP system. It centralizes the control of all Vigipool-compatible CCEI equipment you own: TILD VP box, Daisy VP pH regulator, OFIX VP pH/Redox analyzer, ANTEA VS variable speed pump control antenna, and future Vigipool products. All these devices communicate with each other automatically as soon as they are plugged in and connected to the same Wi-Fi network, without complex configuration. For example, the TILD VP can transmit the water temperature measured by its probe to the Daisy VP pH regulator, which will then automatically adjust the pH dosage according to the temperature (pH varies with water temperature).
The Vigipool application for the TILD VP offers the following features:
Filtration programming with intelligent automatic filtration: The TILD VP automatically adjusts the daily filtration time according to the water temperature measured by the supplied PT1000 probe. CCEI applies a classic sizing rule: filtration time in hours = water temperature in °C divided by 2, with a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 20 hours. For example, water at 16°C → 8h filtration, water at 24°C → 12h filtration, water at 28°C → 14h filtration. This intelligent filtration can be activated or deactivated as per your choice in the app. You can also define fixed time slots if you prefer manual control, or create advanced conditional scenarios (if temperature > 25°C then filter from 8h to 21h, if temperature < 18°C then filter from 12h to 18h only).
12V lighting control: Several control modes available depending on the type of connected LED projectors (modes identical to TIMEO: monochrome ON/OFF, toggle switch by micro-cuts for standard RGB projectors, light sequences with color palette and dimming for CCEI Mini-Brio projectors). You can program automatic lighting times (for example, turn on every evening from 8 pm to 11 pm in summer), or control manually from the app.
Control of the programmable auxiliary output: Unlike the TIMEO where the auxiliary output can only be controlled manually ON/OFF, the TILD VP allows you to program time slots for the auxiliary output. For example, you can program the automatic activation of a heat pump from 10 am to 6 pm every day, or the activation of a pool robot every Monday at 2 pm for 2 hours. This time programming makes the TILD VP much more autonomous than the TIMEO.
Real-time push notifications: The TILD VP sends alerts to your smartphone in case of a power outage (the box detects that it is no longer powered and sends a notification before complete shutdown thanks to an internal backup capacity), abnormally low or high water temperature (you define alert thresholds, for example < 10°C to detect a leak or heating problem, > 32°C to detect a heat pump malfunction), malfunction of a connected Vigipool equipment (for example, the Daisy VP pH regulator signals a lack of product).
Temperature history on graph: The app displays the evolution of water temperature over the last days, weeks or months in the form of a graphical curve. This allows you to detect trends (abnormal heat loss signaling a leak, insufficient heating from the heat pump, etc.), verify the efficiency of the heating system, or simply visualize the seasonal evolution of the temperature.
Automatic OTA firmware updates: The TILD VP updates automatically via the Internet (Over The Air) when CCEI releases new firmware versions. These updates fix potential bugs, improve performance, and sometimes add new features (new lighting modes, new automation scenarios, compatibility with new Vigipool equipment). Updates are installed automatically in the background without any intervention from you.
PT1000 temperature probe included: real-time measurement and smart filtration
The TILD VP comes with a stainless steel PT1000 temperature probe mounted on a Ø50 mm 1/2 inch threaded clamp collar. This probe is attached to a pool return or suction pipe (usually on the return pipe after the filter and before the pool return, or on a dedicated tapping if your installation has one). The clamp collar allows quick mounting without glue or gasket: you drill the Ø50 mm PVC pipe with a hole saw, screw the collar around the pipe, insert the temperature probe into the collar's thimble. The PT1000 probe measures water temperature with an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C, which is more than sufficient for controlling smart filtration and monitoring thermal evolution.
The PT1000 probe is connected to the TILD VP by a cable several meters long (exact length not specified in CCEI documentation, generally 3 to 5 meters). If your technical room is very far from the pool and the supplied cable is too short, it is possible to extend the cable with a 2 or 3-wire cable of 0.5 to 0.75 mm² section and IP68 waterproof connectors, but check with CCEI the maximum allowed length to avoid loss of measurement precision due to cable resistance.
The intelligent automatic filtration activated by the temperature probe is a major asset of the TILD VP. It optimizes electricity consumption by automatically adapting the filtration duration to real needs: at the beginning of the season when the water is still cold at 15-18°C, the TILD VP filters 7-9h per day instead of 10-12h, which reduces the electricity bill by 20-30%. In mid-summer when the water reaches 26-28°C, the TILD VP automatically increases filtration to 13-14h to prevent water from turning green. This dynamic adaptation avoids forgetting manual adjustments and ensures always clean water without wasting energy.
Integrated 12V 100VA transformer: LED projector power supply
The TILD VP integrates a 230V/12V 100VA toroidal transformer (identical to the TIMEO) that directly powers your pool's 12V LED projectors. This 100VA power allows powering:
— 5 to 8 CCEI Mini-Brio LED projectors (10-15W consumption per projector, or 50-120W total)
— 2 PAR56 LED 40-50W projectors (80-100W total consumption)
— Any 12V AC equipment up to a maximum cumulative 100W
The transformer is protected by an integrated C10 circuit breaker that cuts the 12V power in case of overload or short circuit on the lighting circuit. The TILD VP's 12V transformer is compatible with 12V AC LED projectors (alternating current), standard for residential pools. It is not compatible with 12V DC (direct current) projectors which require a stabilized power supply.
If you have more projectors or more powerful projectors exceeding 100W in total, you will need to install an additional external transformer. The TILD VP's transformer will power some of the projectors, and the external transformer will power the others.
Filtration output up to 7A single-phase: maximum 1.5 HP pump protection
The TILD VP has a filtration output protected by an adjustable magneto-thermal circuit breaker up to 7 amps, which allows powering single-phase filtration pumps up to 1.5 HP (approximately 1,100 watts). This magneto-thermal protection combines two functions:
Magnetic protection against short circuits: If a short circuit occurs in the pump circuit (damaged cable, faulty motor winding), the circuit breaker instantly detects the overcurrent and cuts the power in less than 10 milliseconds to prevent a fire.
Thermal protection against prolonged overloads: If the pump consumes more current than its nominal value for several seconds or minutes (for example, due to a heavily fouled filter forcing the pump to work under overload, or a worn motor heating abnormally), the circuit breaker detects this overload and cuts the power after a calibrated delay to protect the pump motor.
The circuit breaker's trip threshold is adjustable from 4 to 7 amps via a graduated rotary knob on the circuit breaker. You set this threshold according to your pump's nominal current, indicated on the motor's nameplate. For example, a 0.75 HP pump consumes approximately 4 to 5 amps, so you set the circuit breaker to 5A. A 1.5 HP pump consumes approximately 6 to 7 amps, so you set the circuit breaker to 7A.
If you have a three-phase filtration pump or a very powerful pump exceeding 1.5 HP (2 HP, 3 HP), the TILD VP is not directly suitable. You will either need to use an external power contactor controlled by the TILD VP's auxiliary output, or opt for another CCEI box suitable for high-power three-phase pumps.
Heat pump outlet protected by D16 circuit breaker: direct connection without control
The TILD VP has a heat pump (HP) outlet protected by a D 16 amp circuit breaker. This outlet allows a pool heat pump to be directly connected to the TILD VP box, simplifying the wiring of the technical room by centralizing several pieces of equipment in the same box.
IMPORTANT: This HP outlet is NOT controlled by the TILD VP. This means that the heat pump connected to this outlet is permanently powered as long as the TILD VP box is switched on. You cannot switch the HP on or off from the Vigipool application, nor program heating time slots via the TILD VP. The HP outlet only serves as electrical protection (D16 circuit breaker) for the heat pump, not as a control.
The D 16A curve circuit breaker is specifically designed for heat pumps and other equipment with high inrush current at startup (compressor, electric motor). The D curve allows a current peak of 10 to 20 times the nominal current for a few milliseconds at startup without nuisance tripping, which prevents outages due to the inrush current of the HP compressor. A classic C curve circuit breaker would trip at every HP startup, which is why CCEI chose a D curve.
If you want to control your heat pump from the Vigipool app (for example, program automatic heating from 10 am to 6 pm every day), you must connect the HP to the TILD VP's programmable auxiliary output (10A maximum) instead of the D16 HP outlet. Please note: the auxiliary output is limited to 10 amps, so make sure your heat pump does not exceed this power (maximum 2,300 watts at 230V). Small residential heat pumps from 3 to 6 kW generally consume 0.5 to 1.5 kW electrically (COP of 4 to 6), so they can be connected to the 10A auxiliary output. Large HPs from 10 to 15 kW electrically exceed 10A and must be connected to the uncontrolled D16 outlet.
Programmable auxiliary dry contact output 10A maximum: additional equipment automation
The TILD VP has a programmable auxiliary dry contact output (normally open relay, breaking capacity 10A maximum) that allows controlling additional electrical equipment with time programming via the Vigipool app. This output works like a programmable electronic switch: you define time slots in the app (for example, Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 2 pm to 4 pm), and the TILD VP automatically activates the relay during these slots, which closes the electrical circuit of the connected equipment. Outside these slots, the relay remains open and the equipment is switched off.
Examples of equipment that can be controlled via the programmable auxiliary output:
Low-power heat pump: If your heat pump consumes less than 10A (2,300W), you can connect it to the auxiliary output instead of the D16 output, which allows you to automatically program heating times (for example, heat every day from 10 am to 6 pm only). This avoids leaving the heat pump running 24/7 and optimizes electricity consumption.
Salt chlorinator or automatic pH regulator: You can synchronize the operation of the chlorinator with the filtration (the chlorinator should only operate when the filtration pump is running), or create specific time slots for automatic treatment.
Pressure or booster pump pool robot: Program automatic cleaning every 2 days at 2 pm for 2 hours, without having to manually operate the robot.
Peristaltic dosing pump, additional LED spot, decorative fountain, or any 230V AC equipment up to 10A (2,300W): The auxiliary output accepts any single-phase electrical appliance within the 10 amp limit.
The timed programming of the auxiliary output is a major advantage of the TILD VP compared to the TIMEO, which only offers manual ON/OFF control without programming. This automation function allows for the creation of a truly autonomous pool management system that requires no daily manual intervention.
Automatic OTA firmware updates: new features without intervention
The TILD VP benefits from automatic Over The Air (OTA) firmware updates via its Internet connection. CCEI regularly publishes new firmware versions to fix bugs, improve performance, and add new features. These updates are downloaded and installed automatically in the background when the TILD VP detects that a new version is available on CCEI servers. You don't need to do anything, plug in any USB cable, or manually download any files.
OTA updates allow the TILD VP to evolve over time without requiring hardware replacement. For example, if CCEI develops a new lighting mode compatible with a new range of LED projectors, or if CCEI adds integration with Alexa or Google Home, or if CCEI fixes a bug in intelligent filtration calculation, all these improvements will be automatically deployed to your existing TILD VP via an OTA update.
This remote update capability is a major asset of connected control boxes compared to traditional electrical boxes with mechanical timers or basic programmers, which remain fixed in their original version without any possibility of functional evolution.
Installation and wiring: pre-wired box with dedicated terminal blocks and diagram provided
The TILD VP is supplied pre-wired from the factory: all internal components (12V transformer, circuit breakers, relays, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module, electronic board) are already wired and interconnected. You do not need to open the box or make internal connections. All user wiring is done via accessible screw terminals clearly identified on the front or side of the box. CCEI provides a detailed wiring diagram in the technical manual that precisely indicates which wire to connect to which terminal block.
The main terminal blocks of the TILD VP are as follows:
"230V AC Mains power supply" terminal block: Connect the 3 wires of the electrical supply from the main electrical panel of the house (phase L, neutral N, earth PE). The TILD VP power supply circuit must be protected upstream by a 30mA type AC or A residual current device (mandatory according to NF C 15-100 standard for pool circuits) and a 16 or 20A miniature circuit breaker dedicated to the pool technical room.
"Filtration output" terminal block: Connect the wires of the filtration pump (phase, neutral, earth). The 7A magneto-thermal circuit breaker integrated in the TILD VP protects the pump. Adjust the circuit breaker threshold according to the pump's nominal current.
"Heat pump output" terminal block: Connect the wires of the heat pump if you have one (phase, neutral, earth). This output is protected by the D16 circuit breaker but is not controlled by the TILD VP (permanent power supply).
"12V Projectors" terminal block: Connect the LED projector cable to the 12V transformer. Observe polarity if you are using CCEI projectors for light sequence modes.
"Auxiliary output" terminal block: Connect the wires of the auxiliary equipment you wish to control (salt chlorinator, robot, low-power heat pump, etc.).
"Temperature sensor" terminal block: Connect the cable of the supplied PT1000 sensor (generally 2 or 3 wires depending on the model).
The TILD VP box also includes cable glands and cable pass-throughs to route cables into the enclosure in a watertight manner, as well as 4 screws and wall plugs for wall mounting. TILD VP installation generally takes 2 to 3 hours for a competent electrician, or 3 to 5 hours for an experienced DIYer. If you are not comfortable with electrical work, call a qualified professional.
TILD VP vs TIMEO difference: Remote Wi-Fi vs Local Bluetooth
CCEI offers two connected electrical boxes: the TILD VP (this product) and the TIMEO. Here is a detailed comparison to help you choose:
TILD VP (Wi-Fi + remote access): Wi-Fi connection to the internet box, remote access from anywhere in the world via the Vigipool app and 4G/Internet connection, advanced programming with multiple timed scenarios and conditional automations (if temperature > X then do Y), programmable auxiliary output with time slots, real-time push notifications, temperature sensor included for automatic intelligent filtration, temperature history on graph, automatic OTA firmware updates, D16 protected heat pump output, future voice assistant and home automation integration. Price: €669 (version without 30mA RCD). Ideal for users who want to control their pool from outside (office, holidays), who want advanced automation, and who have a stable home Wi-Fi network.
TIMEO (Bluetooth only): Local Bluetooth connection only (range 5-15 meters), no remote access via Internet, simple programming of 2 filtration time slots, auxiliary output controllable manually ON/OFF only (no timed programming), no push notifications, no temperature sensor included (fixed timer filtration), no temperature history, no automatic updates, no dedicated heat pump output. Price: approximately €270. Ideal for users who want simple proximity control without reliance on Wi-Fi or the Internet, and who do not need remote control.
Choose the TILD VP if you want total control from outside and advanced automation. Choose the TIMEO if you want a simple and economical box for local control only.
Dimensions and wall installation: IP55 enclosure for humid technical room
The TILD VP enclosure measures 410 × 310 × 150 mm (width × height × depth) and weighs 6.5 kg. It is fixed to the wall of the technical room via integrated mounting brackets and the 4 screws/plugs supplied. The ABS plastic enclosure offers IP55 protection (protection against water jets from all directions and against dust), making it suitable for pool technical rooms even if condensation or occasional splashes are present. Do not install outdoors unprotected (direct rain) or in a submerged area.
The recommended wall installation is at a height of 1.20 m to 1.60 m from the ground, for easy access to the terminal blocks and LED status indicators, while avoiding flooding in case of water leakage in the technical room. Make sure to leave a ventilation space of 10 cm around the enclosure for heat dissipation produced by the 12V transformer. Ensure that your internet box's Wi-Fi signal reaches the enclosure's location correctly (test with your smartphone before final installation). If the Wi-Fi signal is weak, install a Wi-Fi repeater or move the enclosure closer to the box.

Le Tild est un coffret électrique précâblé qui permet une installation aussi simple que n'importe quel coffret électrique piscine classique.
