Easy to use
The Limpido M from CCEI is the benchmark salt chlorinator for standard residential pools and urban pools. Specifically designed to effectively treat water volumes up to 45 m³, this electrolyzer combines ease of use with proven reliability. It is ideal for pool owners (e.g., 8x4m pools) looking for an autonomous solution without oversizing their installation. Thanks to its compact self-cleaning cell, it easily integrates into even cramped technical rooms while ensuring healthy water. We recommend a maximum salt level of 4 g/L for optimal operation, to be adjusted slightly according to water temperature variations.
Why choose the CCEI Limpido salt chlorinator for your pool?
The Limpido M salt chlorinator is one of the flagship products of the CCEI brand, renowned in the world of automated pool treatment. Designed to simplify pool maintenance, this device offers an ecological, autonomous, and economical solution to naturally produce chlorine from the salt in your pool water.
Available in several models to suit all types of pools, the Limpido is a compact, intuitive, and reliable electrolyzer, perfect for pool owners who want effortless treatment.
How does the Limpido salt chlorinator work?
The operating principle of salt electrolysis is based on an electrochemical reaction: the device transforms the salt (NaCl) present in the water into active chlorine (sodium hypochlorite), a powerful natural disinfectant.
The Limpido continuously measures the salt concentration in the water and can automatically adjust chlorine production accordingly. Thanks to its integrated indicator lights on the control box, you get an immediate overview of the operating status:
- Chlorine production in progress
- Correct water circulation
- Polarity inversion
- Overproduction or underproduction of chlorine
A quick glance is enough to ensure your pool chlorinator is working perfectly.
Installing the Limpido electrolyzer: quick and easy
Where to install the electrolysis cell?
The cell is placed on the return pipe, after filtration (downstream of the filter). It can be installed horizontally on a Ø50 mm pipe. The union fittings are provided for simplified installation.
Where to position the flow detector?
The flow detector, essential for the proper functioning of the Limpido, is placed before the cell, on the same pipe section. An engraved arrow indicates the direction of water flow. This device stops chlorine production if filtration stops, thus protecting the cell from overheating.
Should a bypass be installed?
Yes, especially if your pump's flow rate exceeds 22 m³/h. The bypass allows you to regulate the water flow through the cell, while facilitating maintenance operations. It offers additional safety and convenience.

A transparent and self-cleaning electrolysis cell
One of the major advantages of the Limpido 60 is its transparent cell, which allows you to visualize chlorine production in real time. During production, fine effervescent bubbles appear in the cell, a sign that electrolysis is in progress.
Furthermore, this equipment is equipped with polarity inversion technology, making the cell self-cleaning. This process reduces limescale buildup and significantly limits maintenance, a real time and convenience saver for the user.
A practical SHOCK mode for seasonal startup
The Limpido also offers a 24h SHOCK mode, accessible directly via a control on the box. This feature allows you to boost chlorine production when restarting the pool, after winter or during peak use.
⚠️ Caution: to activate this mode, the pool filtration must be running for 24 hours, as the electrolyzer cannot function effectively without water circulation.
Three models available: which Limpido version to choose?
The Limpido is available in three power levels to adapt to your pool's water volume. Our recommendations:
- For pools up to 45 m³: Limpido M
- For pools up to 75 m³: Limpido L
- For pools up to 150 m³: Limpido XXL
Tip: oversizing your electrolyzer is recommended. This ensures optimal chlorine production, better device durability, and better control of water disinfection.
What are the advantages of Limpido?
Here are the main advantages of the Limpido salt chlorinator:
- Complete autonomy: no chlorine production adjustment needed
- Simple and intuitive interface with indicator lights
- Transparent and self-cleaning cell
- CHOC boost mode for occasional intensive treatment
- Easy installation, even in a small technical room
- Reliability and durability thanks to treated titanium electrodes
- Compatible with all pools (shell, concrete, liner, tile, etc.)
Healthier and more ecological water treatment
Thanks to electrolysis, you significantly reduce the use of chemical products. The Limpido provides clear and disinfected water, while avoiding the drawbacks of traditional chlorine:
- Less eye irritation
- No unpleasant odors
- No discoloration of swimsuits
- Better for skin
Coupled with an automatic pH regulator like the Phileo (also from CCEI), you ensure perfect water balance. Indeed, salt electrolysis tends to slightly increase the pH. It is therefore crucial to maintain it at 7.2 for optimal treatment.
How to maintain the Limpido electrolyzer and its cell?
Regular verification
Thanks to the transparent cell, it is easy to monitor limescale buildup or electrode wear. Regular visual inspection is recommended.
Cleaning the electrolysis cell
Here is the procedure to properly clean your cell:
- Dismantle the cell from its support (easy with union fittings).
- Screw the cell onto a cleaning cap.
- Fill with white vinegar (or a specific non-aggressive descaling product).
- Leave for 4 to 6 hours, rinse with clear water, and reassemble.
Perform this operation twice per season, or more if the water is hard.
The electrolysis cell is the heart of your treatment as it allows you to easily check ongoing production and maintain an optimal chlorine level based on the amount of dissolved salt. The Limpido can automatically adjust production according to the recommended salt level, even with low salinity saltwater. This system effectively combats algae, bacteria, and other impurities, ensuring crystal-clear water in your pool.
Available in several models, this range of salt chlorinators covers all needs, from small pools to large ones, and simplifies your pool maintenance with a proven, durable, and economical technique.
