To guarantee engine longevity and suction efficiency, follow these steps after each use:

Filter cleaning (Essential)

1. Opening: Open the debris compartment using the side release button.
2. Emptying: Remove the 1-liter tray and empty large debris (leaves, insects, sand).
3. Rinsing: Rinse the filter with clear water. The Pilot X1 has a dual filtration system (360 µm and 100 µm). Make sure to dislodge fine particles stuck in the mesh.
4. Drying: Let the filter dry in the shade before reassembling it if you do not plan to use it immediately.
