Installation

The installation of the Poseidon by Pool'Up by Pentair sand filter is designed to be quick and easy, thanks to its user-friendly ergonomics. Here are the key steps to successfully commission your unit:

1. Preparation and Location

• Location: Choose a flat and stable surface, preferably near the pump.
• Stability: Place the tank on its reinforced wide base. Its design ensures perfect seating and reduced vibrations, even at full power.

2. Filling the Filter Media

• Instant access: Thanks to the 360° pivoting diffuser, clear access to the center of the tank without disassembling the internal piping.
• Protection: Cover the central tube to prevent sand from entering it.
• Sand/Glass: Fill the tank two-thirds full with your filter media (quartz sand or glass), then put the diffuser back in place.

3. Valve and Lid Assembly

• Sealing: Clean the gasket surface and position the multi-port valve or lid.
• Transparent lid: Install the transparent lid which allows direct visual inspection of water cleanliness and sand condition.
