CCEI PANORAMA PA310 Radio Box: filtration, lighting, and remote control in one unit

The CCEI PANORAMA PA310 Radio box is a multifunctional electrical unit designed to centralize your pool's essential controls in a single point. It manages and protects your filtration pump, powers your submerged lights up to 100W, and integrates a radio receiver with remote control to switch the lighting on and off remotely, from the poolside or any location within radio range.

Three modes to control your filtration

The Panorama PA310 box offers three filtration management modes via the selector on the front panel. The 24h mode keeps the pump running continuously, regardless of the timer—useful during startup or shock treatment. The Timer mode entrusts management to the integrated analog timer, which programs filtration periods in 15-minute increments. The Stop mode completely shuts off filtration. The dial timer is protected by a sealable cover, preventing unwanted modifications—a valuable advantage if you rent out your house with a pool.

The box also features an external control terminal block allowing connection of an external forced-on or pump-prohibit command, for integration with other equipment in the plant room (frost-free sensor, level regulator, etc.).

Power and control your lights with a radio remote control

The PA310 Radio integrates a 100 VA toroidal transformer compliant with NF EN 61558, which reduces mains voltage (230V) to the extra-low safety voltage (12V AC) required for all submerged lighting. This transformer can power one or more LED lights whose combined power does not exceed 100 watts—simply add up the watts of all the lights in your installation to check compatibility.

The special feature of the Radio version lies in its integrated radio receiver and the included ON/OFF remote control. You can switch your lights on and off without going to the plant room. A switch with an indicator light on the front of the box completes the setup for local control. The box also has a pre-wired 12V output to connect a CCEI LED controller such as RC+ or Wil, allowing control of RGBW light color sequences.

A pre-wired, modular, and upgradeable box

Unlike compact Piccolo boxes, the Panorama is built on a modular rail system. Components are pre-wired and mounted on DIN rails, simplifying installation and, most importantly, making the box upgradeable: you can later add a 30 mA differential switch, a frost-free module, or other equipment on the available free rails. The housing is waterproof (IP65), resistant to water jets, allowing its installation in a damp plant room or one exposed to splashes.

Access to the connection terminals is quick thanks to the smoked access door, and the transparent window allows you to view the timer settings without opening the box.

Compatible with single-phase and three-phase

The Panorama PA310 Radio box is wired for single-phase 230V by default. If your filtration pump is three-phase, conversion is simple: just remove two pre-wired cables, as indicated in the diagram provided with the instructions. This flexibility allows the box to adapt to almost all residential pool installations.

Differential switch: an important point to know

The Panorama PA310 Radio box is supplied without a 30 mA differential switch. The filtration pump is protected by the integrated magnetothermal circuit breaker, but personal protection against electric shocks is not provided by the box itself. Compliance with NF C15-100 standards requires the presence of a 30 mA differential switch upstream of the box, in your main electrical panel. If you want a box with an integrated differential, choose the "ID" versions of the Panorama range (PA310 ID).

Panorama PA310 Radio vs Panorama PA310 without radio: what's the difference?

Both boxes share the same technical characteristics (filtration, 100 VA transformer, single/three-phase compatibility). The only difference is the lighting control system: the standard version has a simple switch on the front panel, while the Radio version adds a receiver and an ON/OFF remote control to operate the lights remotely. If you want to turn on your lights from the poolside without going to the plant room, the Radio version is the appropriate choice.

Frequently Asked Questions about the CCEI Panorama PA310 Radio Control Box

What is the difference between the Panorama PA310 Radio and the standard PA310? +

Both control boxes are identical in terms of features (filtration, 100 VA transformer, mono/three-phase compatibility). The only difference is lighting control: the Radio version integrates a receiver and an ON/OFF remote control to turn the projectors on and off remotely, while the standard version only has a switch on the front of the control box.

Does the Panorama PA310 Radio control box contain a 30 mA residual current device? +

No, this version does not contain a 30 mA residual current device. The magneto-thermal circuit breaker is integrated to protect the pump, but differential protection for people must be provided upstream in the general electrical panel (NF C15-100 standard). If you want an integrated differential, choose the “ID” versions of the Panorama range.

What is the maximum power of projectors the PA310 Radio can power? +

The integrated transformer delivers 100 VA in 12V AC. You can power one or more LED projectors whose cumulative power does not exceed 100 watts. Simply add up the power of all your projectors to check compatibility.

Is the control box compatible with three-phase pumps? +

Yes. The control box is wired in 230V single-phase by default, but it can be adapted to three-phase by simply removing two pre-wired cables, as indicated in the diagram in the manual.

How do I adjust the integrated circuit breaker of the Panorama PA310 Radio? +

Before the first use, adjust the rating of the magneto-thermal circuit breaker according to the nominal current indicated on your pump's nameplate. For example: 4-6.3 A for a 0.75 kW single-phase pump, or 6-10 A for 1.1 kW. Consult the calibration table provided in the manual to choose the appropriate setting.

Can modules be added to the Panorama control box later? +

Yes, this is one of Panorama's strengths. Built on modular rails, the control box has free rails that allow a 30 mA residual current device, an anti-freeze module, or other equipment to be added later without changing the control box.

How does the radio remote control work? +

The supplied remote control allows you to turn the projectors on and off remotely (ON/OFF function). The control box integrates a radio receiver. In case of loss of the remote control, you can still control the lighting via the switch with indicator light on the front of the control box, and order a replacement remote control from CCEI.

Is the clock protected against tampering? +

Yes, the analog dial clock is equipped with a sealable cover. Once sealed, no one can modify the programmed filtration periods — a significant advantage if you rent your house with a pool.

Can I control the colors of RGB projectors with this control box? +

The radio remote control only manages switching on and off (ON/OFF). To control the color sequences of RGBW projectors, the control box has a pre-wired 12V output allowing you to connect a CCEI LED controller such as RC+ or Wil, which offers full control of colors and atmospheres.

What is the difference between the Panorama PA310 and the Piccolo PI (filtration + lighting)? +

The Piccolo PI is a compact all-in-one control box suitable for simple installations. The Panorama is a modular control box on rails, scalable, with more advanced features (three filtration modes, slave terminal block, LED controller output, sealable cover, integrated circuit breaker). The Panorama is better suited for installations that are likely to evolve.
