Using the Bleu UV Pack with a salt chlorinator

UV treatment can be installed in addition to a salt chlorinator to enhance pool water disinfection while reducing chlorine production. However, this Bleu UV Pack is not necessary as it includes an Equalizo DUO that regulates water disinfection (as your chlorinator already does) and pH.
Therefore, for an existing installation with a salt chlorinator, we recommend opting for the UV Treatment only, with an additional pH regulator. Placed upstream of the electrolysis cell, the Bleu UV 110 sterilizer immediately eliminates microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, algae, etc.) thanks to its 254 nm UV-c lamps. This physical treatment, without adding chemicals, eases the chlorinator's workload, while improving water clarity and quality.

In this type of configuration, it is therefore recommended to replace the Equalizo DUO with an autonomous pH regulator, in order to maintain a stable pH and optimize chlorine production by electrolysis. The combination of UV + electrolysis + pH regulation constitutes an efficient, durable, and gentler solution for skin and eyes, ideal for those who want healthy, clear, and environmentally friendly water.
The presence of a salt chlorinator in your current installation means that the Equalizo Duo is not necessary since your chlorinator handles Redox regulation; a simple pH regulator will allow you to maintain clean and clear water.
