Compatible with all control boxes in the Brio RC+ range (Brio RC+ wall box, A100 RC+ and A300 RC+ power supply units, as well as the MOD Brio RC+ DIN rail module), this remote control is the direct solution to get your installation back up and running without having to replace the entire control system.

The Brio RC+ remote control operates on a 433 MHz radio frequency and has 4 control channels. It offers a range of up to 25 meters between the transmitter and the receiver integrated into your control box, allowing you to comfortably control your projectors from the terrace, the poolside, or even inside the house if the control box is installed nearby.

What functions does the Brio RC+ remote control offer?

This radio remote control is not limited to a simple on/off switch. It provides access to all the functionalities of the Remote Color (RC) system developed by CCEI. You can select from 11 fixed colors to create the ambiance of your choice, or activate one of the 7 animated light sequences for dynamic lighting. The increment and decrement buttons allow you to quickly navigate between colors or animations without going through the wall box.

The on/off button automatically memorizes the last color or sequence used: when you turn your projectors back on, they pick up exactly where they left off. The fixed/program button switches between fixed color and animation modes with a single press. This operation is designed to be intuitive, even for users who are discovering the Brio system for the first time.

Compatibility with old and new generations

An important point for owners of existing installations: the new generation Brio RC+ remote control is backward compatible with old generation control boxes. The connection is made in the same way; only the location of the radio coding micro-switches differs slightly on the new model. During installation, simply set the remote control switches to the same code as that programmed in your control box for immediate pairing.

This backward compatibility is a major asset: it avoids having to replace the entire control system and allows for quick recommissioning, without the need for an electrician.

Why choose an original CCEI Brio RC+ remote control?

On the market, some universal 433 MHz remote controls may seem compatible with Brio systems, but the communication protocol by micro-cuts used by CCEI is a patented process. Only original CCEI remote controls guarantee perfect synchronization with the control box receiver and, by extension, with all connected projectors. Using an uncertified remote control can lead to erratic commands, desynchronization between projectors, or even a complete lack of response.

By opting for the original part, you maintain the reliability and optimal radio range of the system, even in configurations where the control box antenna is relocated to improve reception.

Which projectors is this system compatible with?

The Brio RC+ system controls all CCEI color projectors manufactured from September 2016, regardless of the model: Mini-Brio X15, Brio X30, Brio Z, Nikita, Gaïa or Eolia RGBW bulbs for PAR56 niches. All these projectors interpret the power micro-cuts sent by the control box and simultaneously execute color changes, guaranteeing perfect synchronization even on multi-projector installations.

The system is therefore suitable for both small pools equipped with one or two mini-projectors and large residential or collective pools requiring several synchronized light points.

Installation and commissioning

The remote control comes with its wall bracket and fixing screws, allowing it to be neatly stored near the pool when not in use. Commissioning involves setting the radio code (configuring the micro-switches) to pair it with your existing control box. If another radio equipment in the vicinity interferes with its operation — for example, a neighbor also equipped with a Brio RC system — it is possible to switch to a different code on both the remote control and the control box.

No additional wiring is necessary: the remote control communicates wirelessly with the control box receiver, which then transmits the commands to the projectors via the existing power circuit.

Lorsque vous remplacez votre télécommande, il se peut que vous deviez changer le code de celle-ci afin de l'appairer à votre boitier de contrôle BRIO RC+. 

Voici la procédure à suivre pour l'appairage de votre nouvelle télécommande : 

• Coupez l'alimentation du BRIO RC+
• Appuyer et maintenir la touche

  

• Mettez sous-tension le boitier BRIO RC+ et relâchez la touche
• Le réglage du code radio de votre boitier va apparâitre sur l'écran (r1, r2, r3 ou r4) 

En fonction du code il faudra ouvrir votre télécommande et soulevez le couvercle permettant d'accéder aux piles afin d'accéder au 10 switchs. 

Le code doit correspondre au placement des switch n°5 et n°6. Voici la position que doivent avoir les switchs en fonction de votre code.
