The PHENIX from CCEI combines two essential functions for water treatment:

• Automatic pH regulation of the pool.
• Analysis and regulation of RedOx potential (ORP), which measures the disinfecting power of the water.

Automatic pH regulation: constantly balanced water

The PHENIX pH regulator continuously measures the acidity of the water using a pH probe placed after the filtration system. This probe detects the actual pH of the water, which is then displayed on a clear and intuitive digital screen. The ideal pH for a pool is between 7.0 and 7.6. Below or above this range, chlorine becomes less effective, compromising disinfection and potentially causing discomfort and irritation for swimmers.

The PHENIX automatically corrects the pH by injecting an acidic or basic solution as needed, thus allowing:

How does an automatic pH regulator work?

The Phenix automatic pH regulator model operates in three main stages:

Comparison to setpoint: The system compares this value to a target value defined by the user on the control display.

Corrective injection: If the measured value deviates from the setpoint, the dosing system automatically adjusts by injecting the necessary amount of corrective product to adjust the pH.

RedOx analysis: a key indicator of water disinfection

The RedOx potential (ORP) is an essential indicator that measures the water's ability to oxidize and eliminate organic contaminants. This potential is expressed in millivolts (mV) and directly reflects the disinfecting power of the water.

• A high RedOx value (550 mV to 800 mV) indicates that the water is well disinfected. 
• A low RedOx value means that the disinfecting action is insufficient.

The PHENIX integrates intelligent RedOx analysis, which acts as a permanent monitoring system for the water's sanitary condition. When the measured RedOx potential falls below the defined threshold, the PHENIX activates a control relay. This relay can be used to:

• Start chlorine production by the chlorinator.

INSTALLATION DES SONDES:
Les sondes permettent de mesurer le pH et le potentiel redox. Les électrodes qui les constituent fournissent une faible tension électrique. Ce sont des éléments fragiles et sensibles aux perturbations. Il convient donc de les manipuler avec le plus grand soin.
Les sondes peuvent se positionner dans la chambre de mesure ZELIA-POD. La mesure se fait dans une partie protégée du ZELIA POD : en dehors des perturbations qui peuvent être créées par le débit d’eau venant de la pompe de filtration.

INSTALLATION DE L’INJECTEUR
L’injecteur permet d’injecter dans la piscine la quantité nécessaire de produit pH moins ou pH plus pour corriger le pH de l’eau. L’injecteur peut être raccordé aussi sur le ZELIA POD.

Montage dans le Zelia POD:

A : Pool-Terre. Raccorder le pool-terre du ZELIA POD sur un piquet indépendant. Veillez à réaliser une bonne prise de terre: la qualité de la mesure et la durée de vie des sondes en seront grandement améliorées.

B et C : porte-sondes PH et ORP. Installer les deux porte-sondes avec du téflon. Pour mettre en place les sondes, dévisser l’écrou du presse-étoupe, mettre en place la sonde en la poussant en butée au fond de son logement, puis remonter la sonde de 5 mm environ et serrer l’écrou du presse-étoupe.

D : détecteur de débit. Installer le détecteur de débit sur cet emplacement. Veiller simplement au sens de passage de l’eau et au sens de montage du détecteur de débit. La sortie du débit d’eau se fait sur la sortie opposée au détecteur de débit. Il n’est pas nécessaire d’utiliser du téflon pour le montage du détecteur de débit.

E et F : injecteur. Installer l’injecteur de produit correcteur de PH sur un des deux emplacements. Utiliser le joint plat fourni pour monter l‘injecteur. C’est ce joint qui assurera l’étanchéité. L’autre injecteur restera fermé avec le bouchon existant.
